2024 Annual Meeting of Members
We are excited to welcome Sawnee EMC members to our 86th Annual Meeting of Members. Join us for drive-through registration on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Sawnee EMC’s headquarters located at 543 Atlanta Road in Cumming.
Registration will take place from 8:00 am until 11:00 am and our staff will be onsite to assist you through the registration process. Sawnee EMC members who register will be entered into our prize drawing and will also receive a gift bag. Please read more about this process below.
Below are a few commonly asked questions regarding Annual Meeting.
Tell me about more about the Annual Meeting?
Members will be able to drive up in their vehicle, and our staff will complete the registration process. After registering, members will receive a gift bag, will be entered into our prize drawing and will have an opportunity to approve a proposed Bylaw amendment. Sawnee EMC will hold a business session which will convene at approximately 11:00 am. If you wish to stay for the business session, please let one of our staff members know when you register. Additionally, members will receive a “State of Cooperative” report during the registration process. Leading up to the business session, from approximately 10:15 am until 11:00 am, we will have light refreshments and entertainment for those members who opt to attend. Who will be the entertainment this year?

How will the prize process work?
Each Sawnee EMC member who registers will be provided a gift bag and will also be entered into a drawing for energy bill credits, as well as the grand prize of a $750 VISA gift card and a $250 VISA gift card. Members do not have to be present at the business session to be eligible to win a prize. The winners will be notified on Monday, October 7th.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Please bring your registration card that is included in the 2023 Sawnee EMC Annual Report and Official Notice of the 2024 Annual Meeting. The Annual Report will be mailed on September 6th to all Sawnee EMC members who are receiving electric service as of August 30th. If you do not bring your registration card, you will be asked to show identification to register.
