A Sawnee EMC member may be eligible for a $25 bill credit per smart thermostat if the following requirements are met:
- The thermostat must be one on our approved list.
- The thermostat must be enrolled in either Sawnee EMC Smart Savers or you have signed up for Sawnee EMC’s Load Management Program. Review the programs and check the FAQ page to determine your best option.
- Must provide proof of purchase showing purchased in the present year. Thermostats purchased prior to January 1, of the present year, do not qualify for this rebate.
- Must agree to remain enrolled in Smart Savers or the Load Management Program from June 1 through August 31, of the present year.
Take the following steps to receive your $25.00 bill credit
- If you haven’t already, use one of the links below to enroll in one of the following programs:
- If you already have an existing thermostat enrolled in Smart Savers Program:
- Please add your new thermostat to your Smart Savers enrollment via your thermostat app
- Please add your new thermostat to your Smart Savers enrollment via your thermostat app
- Use the online form below and include the following information so that we can access your account and apply the bill credit accordingly:
- Name on Sawnee EMC Account
- Account Number
- Service Address
- State which program you have enrolled in: Smart Savers or Load Management
- If you have already enrolled a thermostat in Smart Savers and this is a new thermostat, please include the email address used for the original enrollment
- Phone Number in case our representative has a question or needs additional information
- Optional - Add comments to your email if any special circumstances exist e.g., enrolling a thermostat in smart savers for (1) HVAC unit, while already having a Load Management switch on a 2nd unit.
- Include your receipt or invoice showing your smart thermostat purchase
A Sawnee EMC Representative will contact you with any questions. Generally, once the application is processed, a $25.00 credit, per new thermostat, will appear within 1-2 billing cycles on your billing statement.
