CUMMING, GA – Sawnee Electric Membership Corporation (Sawnee) announced today that it has been ranked highest in customer satisfaction among electric cooperatives in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Electric Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study. The study is based on J.D. Power’s research throughout the entire nation and awards Sawnee EMC with the highest customer satisfaction standards among electric cooperatives. Additionally, Sawnee EMC was ranked #1 in dimension of performance in the areas of “Safety and Reliability”, “Problem Resolution”, “Ease", “People”, “Trust” and “Information Provided”.

This is not the first time that Sawnee EMC has been recognized nationally by J.D. Power. The member-owned electric cooperative, headquartered in Cumming, was honored by J.D. Power five (5) other times - in 2013 for Customer Satisfaction among Midsize Utilities in the South and was ranked Highest in Customer Satisfaction among electric cooperatives in 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2024. Sawnee has been best in class for three out the last four years.
